DOLL Fahrzeugbau GmbH, headquartered in Oppenau in the Black Forest, is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of transport vehicles for the timber transport, heavy haulage, airport equipment and defence sectors. The subsidiaries DOLL TimTech in Mildenau, DOLL France in Paris, DOLL America in New Jersey and DOLL Airport Equipment at the headquarters operate under DOLL Fahrzeugbau GmbH. The DOLL SAS system uses a 3D camera to detect the distance between the vehicle and the aircraft in real time. At the same time, the sensor system reliably detects any object that enters the danger area and triggers an automatic stop of the vehicle at 0,5 m of any potential obstacle. In addition to the camera images, the large display in the driver’s cab also provides the operator with information via symbols and plain text messages.
